Joy Monet Saunders

Program Manager

As a Program Manager, Joy Monet owns the end-to-end execution of client programs to ensure a rich and seamless experience for participants. She collaborates with Managing Directors, Project Directors and Faculty to design and deliver innovative and memorable educational experiences for program participants.

Over the course of her career, Joy Monet has worked to grow leaders both nationally and internationally. She has been recognized for her abilities in public speaking, coaching, project management, cultivating relationships and Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness training.

Prior to joining Duke CE, Joy Monet worked with The Summit Church as a Summit College Leadership Program resident where she developed college student leaders through tailored growth plans, trainings and international learning program coordination. She was also a former Recruitment Associate at Teach For America and the Professional Development Team Lead for the Triangle Chapter of  the Young Non-Profit Professional Network’s Board of Directors.

Joy Monet earned her B.A. in Global Studies: International Politics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her spare time you can find her performing and teaching dance in the community, eating at her favorite restaurants and spending time with her husband, Bryan.
