His diverse experience spans Learning Development, Leadership Competency and Framework, Talent Management Framework, and Succession Management Framework. The experience has been cultivated through roles at distinguished organizations such as Siam Cement Group (SCG), SCG HR Solutions, and PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC), where Tong has gained valuable insights.
Beyond his corporate engagements, Tong had served the role of an educator, sharing his insights on leadership and design thinking to industry-leading enterprises. His academic foundation includes a Master of Sciences in Global Economy (MSc Global Economy) from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. Further, he participated in the Talent Leaders Summit: Developing Principled Leaders at Stanford Graduate School of Business (Stanford GSB). He also completed the Design Thinking Programme from the Stanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD).
Tong excels in managing and crafting signature leadership programs that elevate employee skills across all levels. His expertise lies in analyzing training needs, aligning plans with organizational goals, and fostering collaboration through innovative problem-solving and relationship building. He imparts professional entrepreneurship education to conglomerates, tailoring programs for corporate innovation and venture building.
As a designer, he introduces fresh ideas that challenge traditional thinking, making significant contributions to leadership development and organizational transformation. With adept team and project management skills, Tong facilitates critical stakeholder interactions and applies empathy-driven Design Thinking for customized client solutions. Currently, he leverages his project management acumen to oversee Duke CE’s executive educational programs, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction. Tong infuses his work with boundless energy and nurtures joyful relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients.
Outside of work, Tong enjoys cooking and inventing desserts, using his imaginative dishes to enhance his creativity for his profession.
