Program Manager

Maddie is part of the program management team in the Durham office, where she collaborates with clients, Program Directors, and Managing Directors to design and deliver innovative educational experiences that focus on helping organizations reach their full potential.

Before joining Duke CE, Maddie taught 8th grade Social Studies for five years in Raleigh. She applies her experience as a licensed teacher and Team Lead to deliver high quality collaboration, communication, and imaginative ideas. She has a background of inquiry-based and problem-based learning and curriculum design and enjoys finding new solutions that might seem outside of the box to current problem. She has designed and delivered a vast assortment of curriculum including: entrepreneurship, environmental science, coding, robotics, and social sciences.

Maddie earned a bachelor’s degree in education with a focus in history from Kent State University.

Maddie is a lifelong learner always looking for new learning experiences that she can apply to her work and life. In her previous career, she served on the Equity Counsel and continues to advocate for equitable and accessible education at all ages. She enjoys hiking and discovering new places with her chocolate lab, Fenway, or road tripping back to Ohio to spend time with family.
