Program Manager

Maddie is a Program Manager at Duke Corporate Education, based in the Durham office and living in Raleigh, NC. For the past 2.5 years, she has managed a global portfolio of leadership development programs, partnering with clients across industries to design and deliver immersive, high-impact learning experiences. She works closely with clients, Program Directors, and Managing Directors to bring bold ideas to life – programs that challenge participants to think differently and lead more effectively in today’s fast-changing world.

She thrives on the relationships she builds with her clients and the opportunity to bring shared ideas to life. Whether delivering a program in Europe, Asia, or across the U.S., Maddie finds energy in learning from new people, cultures, and contexts.

Maddie has a passion for experiential and project-based learning, rooted in her background as a licensed teacher and Team Lead. Before joining Duke CE, she taught middle school Social Studies in Raleigh, where she designed hands-on, inquiry-driven lessons to spark curiosity and critical thinking. That same mindset now shapes the programs she supports at Duke CE, where she specializes in crafting outside-the-box activities and immersive experiences that help teams shift perspective and apply new insights to their work.

She also enjoys the relationships she’s built with educators across the Duke CE network, collaborating with them to co-design unique sessions and learning from their deep expertise along the way.

Outside of work, Maddie enjoys traveling, volunteering at local shelters and rescues, and spending time with her family in Chapel Hill – who still accept her despite her job at Duke.

Maddie earned her Bachelor of Science in History from Kent State University.
