Director of Information Technology

Kevin’s role includes responsibility for the strategy and execution of the firm’s technical infrastructure which supports operations on a global basis.

Kevin’s professional work experience includes scientific research at Walter Reed Army Hospital and Johns Hopkins Medical School.  He held information technology positions at the Johns Hopkins University and at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business as the technical lead for the Global Executive MBA program.  He joined Duke CE in 2001, shortly after its founding.

Kevin brings a diverse background to his work at Duke CE.  A citizen of Australia and the United States, he is the son of an Australian journalist and Swiss mathematician.  He was born in Ethiopia and traveled extensively in Africa and Asia as a child.  Kevin has lived in the United States since the late ’70s, growing up outside Washington D.C. in suburban Maryland.  In 1992, Kevin graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BS in Biology.  He earned an MBA, with a focus on the Management of Information Systems, from the Johns Hopkins University in 2000.  In 2008, Kevin completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

On a personal basis, Kevin is an avid cook with a keen interest in wine and fine dining.  He also has a passion for all manner of sports; as a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Real Madrid and most recently Duke basketball.  Kevin and his wife Maureen live in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with their two young daughters, Amelia and Ava.
