A Project Director based in Duke CE’s South Africa office, Yasirah is responsible for the management of client projects. Working closely with our team of program managers and faculty, she ensures that learning design is seamlessly translated and smoothly executed through to delivery and post-delivery review, in line with agreed project plans and client budgets.
Yasirah is an Organizational Psychologist with 15 years’ experience in the EMEA region, spanning a wide variety of HR disciplines, but with a distinct leadership, learning and talent development focus, acquired in the financial services, energy, oil and gas, and maritime and transportation services sectors.
Her leadership development work in Africa has won acclaim in the Financial Times magazine, whilst her program design for the accelerated development of young talent won third place in the MENA region at the Naseba HR Excellence Awards in 2016. Her contribution to national development within the oil and gas sector in the Middle East attracted several awards and accolades from the Energy Ministry in the State of Qatar between 2015 and 2018.
Yasirah holds an MA in Organizational Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand, among other coaching and HR-related certificates, and has shared her thought leadership as a guest speaker at several local and international HR Conferences.
Yasirah is passionate about partnering with clients to create and leverage learning and leadership development platforms that support, engage, and inspire people to shape their destinies with courage and a sense of purpose.
She is also an avid football fan and motoring enthusiast, who suffers from incurable wanderlust, traveling the world to watch her favorite teams FCB, Liverpool, and team Ferrari compete in major tournaments.
