As a Project Director Tiina facilitates the design and development of customised executive education programmes ensuring that the client’s needs and expectations are exceeded. Her role includes client relationship management, programme design and delivery, budget creation and implementation, supplier engagement, educator selection and overall project leadership. Tiina joined the Duke CE (SEA) office in Singapore in October 2013. Prior moving to Singapore, Tiina was a Programme Manager for seven years at the Duke CE London office. Her role was to coordinate the logistical aspects of Duke CE’s executive education programmes, being a key point of contact between clients, faculty, participants and her team to ensure smooth delivery of programmes. Over the years Tiina has worked with clients across several industries in 18 different countries.
Prior joining Duke CE, Tiina held several roles at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, including: Educational Science Tutor and Research Secretary at the Department of Education, Research Assistant in Jyväskylä International Summer School, and part-time Lecturer of Intercultural Communication at the Department of Teacher Education and Open University. She was responsible for arranging several international events associated with the University.
Tiina has a strong interest in Intercultural Communication, Education, and Adult Learning. A native of Finland, she has lived abroad in Germany, Spain, UK and currently in Singapore and in addition to fluent Finnish and English skills, she speaks Swedish and German. Tiina holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Jyväskylä and has completed master studies in intercultural communication. She also holds teacher training qualification.
