Patrick Conroy

Patrick Conroy is based in Johannesburg South Africa. Prior to joining Duke CE Patrick was the Head of Strategy for Ogilvy PR. He has held numerous executive positions within the eMedia Group, one of South Africa’s largest media companies. He was the former Managing Director of South Africa’s first 24-hour news service, and Managing Director of the country’s first free-to-view digital satellite entertainment platform.

Patrick is a published author and public speaker on reputation management and crisis communications. He has worked as a marketing and communications consultant in the telecommunications sector, banking security, and media. Patrick studied Journalism at the Durban University of Technology and was awarded the Clive Menell Fellowship to Duke University in 2005. In 2017, he studied Digital Marketing through the Emeritus Institute at the Columbia Business School.
