Programme Manager
Merel joined Duke Corporate Education in February 2012. Her role is to facilitate Duke CE’s executive education programs. Merel acts as a liaison between clients, faculty, staff, and suppliers, and her main responsibilities include material design, logistics and communications.
Prior to joining Duke CE she lived, studied and worked in Amsterdam. As a project coordinator she organised an extensive number of events in different fields, such as media, hospitality and civil society. In her previous job she produced and facilitated programmes on increasing (economic) participation of a social-vulnerable community in Amsterdam East. Her role was to enhance and improve collaboration and commitment of clients, citizens and local businesses.
Merel holds a Bachelor degree in Cultural and Social Development. In her free time she likes to explore the boroughs of London, looking for trends in the field of food and drink. Besides that she likes photography, her favourite subject is colour.
