Deepa is a project director at Duke Corporate Education, where she oversees the end-to-end experience of Duke CE’s leadership programmes. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of development initiatives collaborating with clients, educators, participants and her team to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
The role also involves client relationship management, supplier management, programme design and development, managing complex projects, budget creation and management and overall project leadership.
Deepa brings over a decade of experience and has designed and delivered programmes for leaders at various levels, including company executives and middle managers in multiple locations within the UK and Europe.
Deepa has worked on several projects during her career, delivering cost savings of circa £800,000 whilst she was at Nationwide Building Society. Having left her legacy at Nationwide back in 2015, Deepa was self-employed for a period, working as a consultant.
During this time, Deepa worked with clients from various industries including professional services, public sector, and the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), where she scoped the first phase of an executive leadership programme working with corporate education providers to create a proposal, a capability framework for the business to pilot and roll out across all corporate functions, and a three-year strategy on how to best utilise the apprenticeship levy in the public sector.
Prior to joining Duke CE, Deepa worked as a learning and organisational consultant for deMontfort University and was responsible for the planning, design, and successful execution of programmes.
Born in England, she enjoys travelling, reading, cooking and immersing herself in new cultures.
Deepa is bilingual and speaks English, Gujarati and Hindi.
