As Executive Director since its inception in 2011, Krishna leads all aspects of Innovations in Healthcare’s work to support the scale and replication of transformative healthcare solutions globally. He also leads multiple initiatives at Duke in the rapidly evolving fields of health innovation and globalization of healthcare.
As Head of Global Innovation for Duke Medicine, he is responsible for the development and implementation of global strategy as well as global business development. Krishna also serves as Director of the Center for Health Delivery Science within the Duke Institute for Health Innovation. As Co-Principal Investigator for the Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator at Duke (SEAD), he providers leadership for a Duke-wide partnership with USAID that supports the scaling of impact of global health innovations.
Krishna serves as Associate Professor of Global Health and Medicine at Duke University, and also holds a faculty appointment at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore. He earned a BA in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Virginia, and both an MD and MBA from Duke University.
