Pradosh Thiya

Administrative Assistant 

Pradosh joined Duke CE in March 2007 to bridge the Duke CE India and IIMA partnership and assist in the establishment of the India office and its operations. His role began with setting up the new office, and he supports facilities, office operations and deliveries. He is the head coordinator and liaison with several departments of IIMA.

Pradosh has worked in several departments since starting his career at IIMA in 1996.  Initially, he assisted Professor IM Pandey, Faculty in Finance, followed by Prof Brij Kothari, Adjunct Faculty. Pradosh’s next assignment was working with Management Development Program (MDPs), where he spent eight years gaining experience in handling programs, workshops, seminars and conferences. He has assisted more than 100 MDPs coordinating with 70 different professors.

Pradosh later moved to the One Year Post Graduate Program for Executives (PGPX), which was first introduced in 2006. He was instrumental in helping set up procedural guidelines for administration of the PGPX office.

Pradosh has a BA (Economics) from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India. His hobbies include playing cricket, football and table tennis.
