Michael Serino

Regional Managing Director, Northeast U.S.

Michael Serino is the Regional Managing Director based out of the New York office.

Prior to joining Duke CE, Michael led Executive Development and Knowledge Strategy at Merck & Company where he created, directed and managed executive education and development programs. In addition, he directed action learning initiatives focused on enhancing collaboration and enabling knowledge-based strategy execution with executive teams. He worked with marketing and research operating units to improve innovation and build organizational capabilities necessary to achieve strategic goals.

Prior to joining Merck, he was Director of Organizational Capabilities at The Coca Cola Company and a Senior Knowledge Management Consultant in the Coca-Cola Learning Consortium. Michael was a management consultant for fifteen years in Boston and co-founded three professional service firms that assisted Fortune 500 companies with organizational learning, marketing and change management initiatives. Prior to starting those firms he held senior level sales and marketing positions with leading information technology companies.

Michael holds a bachelor's degree from Hamilton College and a Master's degree from Harvard University. He has pursued studies at Harvard Business School, Cornell University and Wharton executive education programs.  Michael was a Research Fellow and founding member of the IBM/Lotus Institute and taught in the MBA program at Northeastern University.
