Judy Rosenblum

Advisor to the CEO

Judy Rosenblum is Advisor to the CEO, and a member of the board of directors at Duke CE.  Prior to that, she was Duke CE's president, responsible for all client-related activities, including the leadership and development of all personnel and alliances integral to designing, developing and delivering client engagements.

Before joining Duke Corporate Education, Judy served as vice president and chief learning officer of The Coca-Cola Company. She has, for the past twenty years, worked both inside companies and as a consultant in the areas of strategy, capability development and organizational learning. Prior to her role at Coca-Cola, Judy was the vice-chairman of learning, education and human resources with Coopers & Lybrand. She headed the firm’s strategic management services consulting practice before moving to direct the learning and education function.

Judy’s combined background in strategy and learning gives her a unique perspective on how learning experiences can enable strategy. Her areas of expertise include the fields of business and capability strategy, learning, knowledge management, management and leadership competency development, and training strategy. She received her BA and MBA from the University of Florida.

She has served as a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Human Resource Management and a member of the Commission on Technology and Adult Learning sponsored by the National Governors Association and the American Society for Training and Development. She has served as a visiting lecturer at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at Emory University Goizeuta Business School, and a speaker at the Linkage and Global Consulting Alliance Conference. She holds a personal copyright for the “Breakthrough Model,” the strategic framework that underpins her work.

She contributed a chapter “Imbedding Learning in the Organization: the Coca-Cola Story” in Learning Architectures: Building Organization & Individual Learning, Warren R. Wilhelm, 2003, GCA Press. She co-wrote a chapter “The Learning Leader as Partner” in Partnering, The New Face of Leadership, edited by Larraine Segil, Marshall Goldsmith and James Belasco, 2003, AMACON. She also contributed a chapter on strategy coaching for Profiles in Coaching; The 2004 Handbook of Best Practices in Leadership Coaching, edited by Howard Morgan, Phil Harkins and Marshall Goldsmith, 2003, Linkage, p. 193.

She served as a panelist at the Coach K and Fuqua School of Business Conference on Leadership, October, 2003: “Cutting-Edge Thinking and Practice in Preparing Leaders.”
