As Chief Operating Officer for the NY office, John has responsibility for finance, facilities, IT, staffing, capacity, and talent management. This Master-of-All Trades also supports our client teams and is involved in Duke Corporate Education’s own internal human capital development efforts.
Previous to his role in New York, John was the Director of Operations and Development in our Durham office, spearheading a variety of efforts related to internal capacity and capability.
John came to Duke Corporate Education as the Director of IT in September of 2000. Before that he was the Director of IT Infrastructure at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, where he built and maintained the technical infrastructure to support distance learning.
An alumnus of the University of North Carolina, John spent most of his early professional career in North Carolina with over 17 years of experience in Information Technology, working in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in education. |
