Tiina Haikola
Programme Manager
Tiina Haikola became a programme manager in July 2007, after joining Duke CE in June 2006 to support Kathy Hammond’s and Ian Turner’s teams in the London office.
Tiina has a wide range of experience gained at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, including: Educational Science Tutor and Research Secretary in the Department of Education, Research Assistant in Jyväskylä Summer School, and part-time Lecturer in the Department of Teacher Education and Open University. She arranged conferences and events associated with the Summer School.
Tiina has a strong interest in Intercultural Communication, Education, and Adult Learning. A native of Finland, she has lived abroad in Germany and Spain and in addition to fluent Finnish and English skills, she speaks Swedish and German.
She holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Jyväskylä and has completed master studies in intercultural communication.
