Kati Clement-Frazier
Associate Director, Learning Methods
Since joining Duke CE in 2002, Kati has enjoyed a series of adventures with the company. Equipped with a B.A. in English from the University of Maryland, Kati worked for two years as a Program Manager in the Durham office, where she coordinated and delivered corporate education programs for companies including Deutsche Bank and Merck. In addition, she worked closely with the writing team that published the Leading From The Center book series.
In 2005, Kati transitioned to the London office where a partnership with LSE and increased business development created a need for program management support. This brief assignment reaped significant rewards, both deepening relationships with the innovators of the London office and putting a footprint on the organization’s global growth.
From London, Kati made the leap to California to jump-start Duke CE’s West Coast operation. In 2007, she was promoted to Associate Director of Learning Methods for the California office. In this role, Kati works with clients and client teams to design and implement learning interventions. The Learning Methods group focuses on developing leading edge practices for learning experiences while keeping a pulse on the next wave of experiential learning methodologies.
As Kati has segued into new positions of increased opportunity, one fundamental question has remained at the heart of her journey: “What are the pedagogical requirements of designing transformative learning experiences for our clients?” In an effort to grow this discourse of corporate education, Kati is currently pursuing an M. Ed. in Human Resources Development through the University of Illinois.
