Manuela Baier

Programme Manager

Manuela joined the Duke CE team in January 2008, focusing on the ArcelorMittal Talent Pipeline. As the link between faculty, educators, participants and venue management, she is responsible for the smooth preparation and running of programmes.

Manuela has worked in various roles in hotel organisation, giving her a good understanding of what delegates and organisers require during the preparation, delivery and follow up of a programme.

Her most recent position included Business Development as well as Conference Management in Lithuania, organising seminars and conferences for a variety of sectors with up to 400 participants. She has also worked in the hospitality industry in the UK and Austria and as a German language assistant during her studies in the Netherlands.

Manuela holds a BA in Business Administration and a master's in International Hospitality Management, both from the CHN University Netherlands. Being Austrian, her first language is German, followed by English and Dutch, and she is currently improving her French.
