A large telecommunications firm in the midst of significant transformation worked with Duke Corporate Education to design their annual Leadership Summit to be a catalytic event for their top 500 leaders. The goal was to shift mindsets toward “one” enterprise, driving alignment around their new mission, vision, and values, and enabling key leaders to cascade change throughout the organization.
The client wanted to bring their leaders to Duke University, to create a ‘university feel’ for the summit. Delivered over three days on campus, the program consisted of inspirational keynote sessions from renowned executives and Duke faculty, interspersed with experiential methods designed to align and energize leaders with a stronger sense of team, help them better connect their leadership journey to the organization’s new strategy, mission, vision, and values, and get them ready to engage and inspire their teams when they returned to work. The Duke Basketball Experience was one of several experiences leveraged as part of the Summit.
