Duke CE Friends Day Held in India

Dr. Liz Mellon and GLRN educator Dr. Maarten Asser headlined the Duke CE Friends Day in India on 5 December that was attended by 35 existing clients and prospects. The event was hosted by our client Aircel/Maxis at its Learning Academy in Delhi. Aircel’s CEO and COO were both there. Other companies attending included IBM, Duke Alumni in Delhi, Fortis, Amity and WNS.

Dr. Mellon talked about her latest research and book on global leadership, focusing on what it takes to lead change successfully.

Dr. Asser conducted an interactive session on the growing requirements of cross-cultural competence for business leaders in India and focus on those elements of business partnerships affected by cross border integration based on his recently published book, The Global M&A Tango.

Duke CE Chair Blair Sheppard opened and closed the event.

“The Duke CE brand in India has grown considerably with blue chip companies like ABG, Genpact, SBI and Aircel as our clients,” said Managing Director Nikhil Raval. “The Duke CE Friends Day was the first event of its kind for the India office, and we are very excited by its success.
