Karol Wasylyshyn

Licensed psychologist, entrepreneur and former journalist Dr. Karol M. Wasylyshyn, president of the Philadelphia-based Leadership Development Forum, specializes in business management.

She has spent more than 25 years consulting to senior executives in Fortune 500 and private companies. These companies include Dupont, GE, FMC, GlaxoSmithKline, Henkels & McCoy, CoreStates (now Wells Fargo), Rohm and Haas Company, Colgate Palmolive, Pfizer Int’l, Revlon, Sunbeam, Johnson and Higgins (now MARSH), Johnson & Johnson, Price WaterhouseCoopers, and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.

A business-psychology hybrid, Dr. Wasylyshyn began her career at the McGraw-Hill Publishing Company and now combines that business experience with her clinical training to create practical applications of psychology in business. A frequent speaker on the subjects of executive development and emotional intelligence, she has coached hundreds of executives representing every global sector.

Dr. Wasylyshyn’s current academic appointment is Adjunct Professor of Clinical Psychology at Widener University’s Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology.She has also served as Adjunct Faculty in the Wharton School’s Advanced Management Program. In 1999, she founded The Center for Applied Emotional Intelligence in the Leslie Quick Business School at Widener University where she also serves as a Trustee.

Recent publications have focused on executive coaching outcome results and the coaching of C-suite executives.
