Tanushri Banerjee

Associate Director, Operations and Technology

Tanushri joined Duke CE in 2007 to help establish India office operations. Her role calls for administrative and program support for creating an effective office environment that supports the overall strategy of the Duke CE India and IIMA collaboration.

Her primary responsibilities include supporting the Information Technology and Audio Visual office infrastructure under the direction of the Director of IT and supporting the Global VP of Facilities and Vendor Management in establishing processes and procedures in support of the overall management of the office and hence working with IIMA in establishing processes and procedures to support Duke CE India office and program delivery on campus.

Tanushri has 10 years of experience divided between teaching and industry. Prior to joining Duke CE, she was Faculty at Gujarat University Ahmedabad-based Business School, teaching Information Sciences. She previously worked at Abbott Laboratories in Chicago for two years as an Information Analyst. She was also Manager of Information Systems at Torrent Pharmaceuticals and Mudra Institute of Communications and has been a Visiting Faculty at Nirma Institute of Management, India.

Tanushri has an undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering from MS University, Baroda, India. She has her Masters Degree in Information and Decision Sciences from the University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC) and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Marketing Information Systems at the MS University, Baroda, India. She lives on the Indian Institute of Management campus, where the Duke CE office is also located, along with her husband and two children.
