Shannon Knott

Project Director

As a member of a global client team, Shannon facilitates the design and development of customized executive education programs ensuring that the client’s needs and expectations are exceeded. Her role includes client relationship management, budget creation and implementation, supplier engagement, and overall project leadership. Shannon also enjoys coaching and small group facilitation.

With Duke CE, Shannon has spent two years in Durham, NC and four years in London, and has worked in more than a dozen countries including North America, South America, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, India, South Africa, Germany, Sweden, Luxembourg, Portugal, and the UK. Shannon has experience with a diverse range of industries such as financial services, telecommunications, mining/exploration, and commercial manufacturing.

Before taking the role of project director, Shannon was a program manager at Duke CE and was responsible for the planning, coordination, and successful execution of programs. She served as a liaison between clients, faculty, staff and suppliers, ensuring a seamless delivery. 

Prior to joining Duke CE in January 2004, Shannon worked as an event coordinator for a special events company in North Carolina. She earned her a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Minor in Art and Design in 2003 from North Carolina State University.
