Sara Nilsson DeHanas

Project Director

Sara joined Duke CE in January 2004 as an online learning solutions specialist in our Learning Technology department, and she has been a project director since March 2008.  She has worked across a wide range of clients and industries, using technology to facilitate and enhance learning in executive education programs.

Prior to joining Duke CE, Sara spent a year volunteering as a relief-worker with political asylum seekers in Rome.  She has also managed and taught educational programs for high-potential young adults in Washington, D.C. 

Sara graduated magna cum laude from Rice University with a degree in English literature, having received one of their top merit scholarships for leadership and community bridge-building.  She speaks conversational Italian, and has lived in London with her husband since June 2007.
