Namit Kapoor

Consultant 

Namit works as a Consultant with the Duke Corporate Education India office. As part of his role, he is involved in developing Duke CE’s business in India and engaging with clients on developing high impact learning interventions.

He has over 15 years of experience in leadership development, executive education, and management / HR consulting in India, Australia, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Over the last eight years, he has been deeply involved in crafting leadership development and talent management strategies, and designing educational interventions for companies seeking to utilize education as a vehicle for individual and organizational change.

In the last eight years, Namit has shared the responsibility for the start-up of two prestigious executive education centers: Center for Executive Education – Indian School of Business (Hyderabad, India) as a Director (2001-2004), and Center for Executive Excellence - FGF (Cairo, Egypt) as the founding Executive Director (2004-2005). In these roles, Namit was responsible for development of the overall strategy and driving execution at a start-up stage. Namit also has extensive corporate sector experience. In the year 2006, he worked with Genpact as Vice President – Global Leadership Development to drive the design efforts for development of the company’s leadership pipeline. Namit has also shared the responsibility for delivering executive education interventions for ONGC, Microsoft India, LIC, GAIL, and several other companies from India and the Middle East. He has also consulted with Rakindo, Infrastructure JV funded by the Government of Ras Al Khaimah (UAE), for organizational design and HR systems design; and Trimex International, an integrated minerals company based in UAE/India, on talent management.

Namit received his Masters in Physics from Hindu College, University of Delhi followed by a research based MBA at the Monash Mt. Eliza Business School in Melbourne, Australia. His research interests include talent management, succession management (growing leaders from within) and leadership in family managed businesses.
