Lisa Wardle
Managing Director
Lisa Wardle is currently a Managing Director at Duke Corporate Education. She has a background in organization development initiatives, strategic human capital planning, learning and development, global leadership, reward systems and performance management. Prior to joining Duke CE, she held key leadership roles in human resources for the Olympics in Athens, Greece and Salt Lake City, Utah; facilitated leadership and management development programs for various financial, service and manufacturing organizations; and worked for the Organizational Change Consulting Group of Franklin Covey.
In her work for the Olympics, Lisa implemented an organizational design program to improve job satisfaction and link past Games knowledge to current HR strategy. She mapped and wrote business processes for the staffing effort, including recruitment, selection and retention of 11,500 volunteers. She developed the performance management process and tools for 190 management team members. Lisa also designed a streamlined, cost-effective training curriculum and program geared to the short-term, high performing Olympic workforce that ran for one-year leading up to the Games.
Lisa has led consulting projects and learning interventions in a variety of industries including: aerospace and defense; financial services; hardware; pharmaceuticals; manufacturing; mining, maritime and software/video gaming. She has worked on various large-scale organizational redesign projects including taking a role as a key player for the ‘Partnership Process for Electronic Warfare Acquisition’ for the Department of Defense. She designed and wrote CD content on Individual Development Plans for a multi-million dollar project that was published by a large technology company. She also spent three years serving as Chairperson of the Board for the Deaf and Blind Children’s Fund, a non-profit organization supporting the needs of children with sensory impairments in Utah.
Lisa holds a Master of Arts from Columbia University and she received her Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University.
