John Sullivan

Managing Director

John’s roles include design and development of programs, facilitating group sessions, and working closely with clients to ensure their business outcomes are met. He studied under trust expert Charles Green – author of The Trusted Advisor and Trust Based Selling – and teaches trust sessions in client programs. As a Managing Director, John is also responsible for overseeing budgets, successful project execution and engaging educators for participation in program deliveries.

John joined Duke CE in January 2006 as a Project Director. Previously, he founded John Sullivan Public Relations, Inc. partnering with consumer and business-to-business clients, including Bombardier/Learjet and Lockheed-Martin, on strategic public relations initiatives. Before starting his own firm, John spent nearly 10 years in advertising, providing public relations services for BMW, Michelin and Porsche, among others.

John is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and earned its prestigious APR certification. His professional experience also includes 12 years as a television journalist, seven at CNN in Atlanta, where he anchored sports on CNN, CNN International and Headline News.

John is a published author with numerous articles to his credit. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Georgia Southern University.
