Dina Dommett
Managing Director
Dina has held senior positions in corporate development and business education in the United States and Europe. In 2007 she joined the London School of Economics and its partner institution, Duke Corporate Education, to deliver a range of management education projects including admissions for and development of the LSE’s portfolio of postgraduate MSc Management degrees. She specializes in designing and developing global leadership and exchange programs for new graduates, high potential managers and senior executives.
Prior to this role she served as Managing Director of London Business School’s Dubai Centre for Executive Education, Practice Leader for Executive Development for The Monitor Group in London, Assistant Dean for MBA Admissions at New York University’s Stern School of Business, Director of Special Projects in Corporate and Government Relations at London Business School, Vice President of Leadership Development at Marconi plc, and Associate Dean of Executive MBA Programs at Columbia Business School, where in 2001 she helped launch the EMBA-Global dual degree with London Business School and expanded the EMBA International Seminar (a Business/Study Tour) into Eastern Europe and Asia.
Dina began her career as an academic, teaching Italian language and literature at Yale University and Connecticut College, as well as broadcasting history at The Museum of Television & Radio in New York City. She earned a Ph.D. in Italian from Yale University in 1993, a Fulbright Fellowship to the University of Rome in 1987, and a summa cum laude B.A. degree in Italian and German from Boston College in 1986.
In her spare time she makes prizewinning handpuppets with her twin sister, Donna Consolini, serves on the Yale Graduate School of Arts & Sciences Alumni Board, and is a fan of the British Motorcycle Racing Club, where her husband Mike serves as CEO.
