Devin Bigoness

Project Director

Devin joined Duke CE as a program manager in August 2005 and was promoted to project director in July 2008. He facilitates the design and development of customized executive education programs as part of the client-facing teams at Duke CE.

Devin’s role involves client relationship management, engaging appropriate external educators and providers for customized programs, group facilitation, program design and development as well as overseeing program implementation and managing project finances.  Devin has worked globally on programs focused on leadership, marketing, strategy and development for clients including IBM, Honeywell, Ingersoll Rand, Microsoft, Vestas, SSAB, Royal Bank of Scotland and The Home Depot. 

He is particularly interested in executive education and learning in companies in the sports business industry.  With this interest, Devin has worked on organizational development programs for the Duke University Athletics Department.

Before joining Duke CE, Devin worked in sports marketing as brand manager for Sof Sole, the leading brand of performance footwear accessories in the sport specialty market based in Raleigh, NC.  At Sof Sole, Devin was responsible for marketing, public relations, advertising, e-marketing, product development and event sponsorship including new product launch events.  Prior to this role, he served as Assistant Athletic Media Relations director at Merrimack College (MA) and Assistant Sports Information Director at the College of Charleston (SC) where he was responsible for public and press relations, game-day operations and event management.  Devin has also worked as a sports reporter for WLFL-TV in Raleigh, NC.

Devin graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Communications.  Devin currently works with the Duke CE/ London School of Economics Joint Venture in London, where he also lives.  He is an avid golfer and traveler.
