Adam Getz

Project Director

As a project director with Duke Corporate Education, Adam facilitates the design and development of impactful customized executive education programs ensuring that the client’s needs and expectations are exceeded.  As a member of a global delivery team, he collaborates with Managing Directors, Program Managers and Faculty to design and deliver innovative and memorable educational experiences for program participants. 

The role also involves client relationship management, engaging appropriate external educators for tailored programs, program design and development, managing complex projects as well as overseeing program implementation. He’s had the privilege to work with clients such as Rio Tinto, Boeing, Balfour Beatty, American Express, Textron, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.  He’s also had the opportunity to work and host programs in countries such as Australia, South Africa, Malaysia, and multiple regions of the United States.

He began his career with Duke CE as a program manager.  His main responsibilities included material design, program logistics and communications. Adam also acted as a liaison between clients, faculty, staff, and suppliers to execute seamless and memorable program deliveries.

Before joining Duke CE, Adam served as Asst. General Manager of North Hills Club in Raleigh, NC, where he coordinated programs and events for the club membership. He was responsible for managing general operations and membership building.  Adam has also worked with a variety of non-profit organizations, managing events and fund raising campaigns.

Adam graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Business Management. He and his wife, Leanne, live with their three children in Raleigh, NC.
